Any DIY CNC'ers near Orange NSW?

I'm about to start buying componentry, etc based upon the threads on the forum to start my build. Are there any people who are working on these things that are based near Orange NSW and are willing to talk about there experiences?

Sure, but I'm a relative newbie myself, and I'm not sure I have actually gotten anything from a local Sydney supplier. (Oh, maybe a couple of things from McJING Tools)

I've sourced most things from eBay & other internet suppliers.

I have been fiddling with these machines since 2005, I don't get much from Sydney now except the odd section of Aluminum, I have also gone the CNC laser cut / powder coated way ( Orange Powder Coating do an awesome job!!!! ).

Hey there,

I am in the wilds of Tarago which is near canberra. Right now I am looking for some things for a couple of old turret lathes that I have. I have a small one that takes 4C collets I think. I need an adapter to mount a chuck or chuck that takes 1.5 inch by eight threads. Anyone have any ideas.
