| I'm about to start another learning curve. After the Melbourne BBQ in May this year I came home and set about writing a program (which, yesterday, I finally succeeded in getting correct, at LONG last) that machines a crank case out of a block of aluminium. Up until yesterday I have been using wood. However, for the aluminium, I have now found I need to cool the work while machining, so I am looking for any information on how to run a 12vdc pump, using the Mach3 program. At the same time I am also interested in modifying my CNC machine to start and stop the 240ac cutter motor. Many thanks, in advance, for all the wonderful advice I am sure this post will bring. Thank you to all those who have helped me in the past. I'm having a great time working things out. |

Eggo, There are a number of different break-out boards which have the controls to do what you want. campbell designs, cnc4pc. I have a C11 board from cnc4pc. Seems like a decent product so far. I am currently just using it to isolate the computer and the stepper drives. Will end up using a VFD to control the spindal, which in turn can be controlled through the B O B. The B O B also has a couple of relays which can turn loads on and off. Mark |
