Greetings. I am looking to find someone fairly competant in engineering design & preferably local (Hutt Valley / Wellington area), to help finish building a 5-axis cnc machine. Also, an understanding of how 3D CNC software works, further down the track would be beneficial. (I have the software, but learning to operate it will be interesting! ![]() It has been sitting in the corner of my workshop for some months now, and at present, it looks like it'll take me years to complete! (too many projects on the go, and family commitments, etc) Do you want to become involved? It is an ideal joint venture into 5 axis CNC machine, and could be a rewarding and profitable business. We could discuss a partnership of some sort, and am open to ideas in this area. I already have a large 3 axis cnc machine, and laser cutting facilities, so creating odd parts (mounting plates/bearing/motor plates/holders etc) for the 5 axis is no issue. I have all the mechanical parts, and the base frame is complete, with rails, and t-slotted table assembled. All thats required to finish is the gantry assembly, the z-axis plate (I have all parts required). And electronics. I will buy the electronics when the table is complete, and justifies the immediate purchase! ![]() I have a full understanding of how it is to be assembled, based on a proven design. Also, the a/b axis is ready made, and simply mounts to the 400mm+ travel z-plate. P/M email me here, or preferably to synthetiklone @ yahoo.com Many thanks
