| Hi All, I use Autocad 2002 for producing drawings in a DXF format for importation onto a Multicam CNC router. Does anybody know if there is an add on program for Autocad that will enable 3D drawings to be saved as a .NC fiile? Reason being I cannot import 3D files in .DXF format onto my toolpath program. Not sure why! It only accepts .dxf, .plt or .nc files. Any info would be appreciated. Alternatively, would I be better going to a different drawing package? Just seems a waste to have to relearn another package. Thanks, Chris |

| Hi Michael, I have no problem creating the DXF. Problem is the toolpath program thats with the machine wont accept it. I have been told I have to import it in .nc format however, Autocad does not allow me to save .nc formats. Mastercam does though right? Whats the damage on mastercam? Cheers, Chris |
