Hello I'm just about to take ownership of a hercus pc200 cnc lathe and I'm wondering if anybody has converted one with an 8 postion tool turret( this one has one fitted). I have converted a mill before with mach3 so i don't think I will have a problem with the X and Z axis, the spindle should be fairly staight forward as well. I will be using mach3 again and hav ethe controller ready to go. I have seen that some people have converted emco 5 lathes with auto tool changes, it's mainly the logic macros i'm not sure about. Any help would be greatly appreciated. On another topic i have an cnc X3 mill for sale as i'm upgrading to a bigger mill. CNC Fusion deluxe kit used with stepper motors and limit switches all fitted, no controller. If there is anybody interested you can Email me a evan@brownbot.com.  |
