to those using a milwaukee DG30QE die grinder

I know a number of you use this die grinder, my question is, were did you guys get a 1/8" collet for these? The place i bought my ginder from quoted me this part number from milwaukee 48-66-0965 but it doesn't look like it will fit. None of my local tool shops stock milwaukee gear.

Found a corian supplier, got my 1/8" ball nose cutter and a 1/8" 30deg V cutter, just need a dang collet!!

Cheers

The place where I got my Milwaukee from wanted $65 for a 1/8" collet (genuine Milwaukee)

Fortunately I had one from a air die grinder that fitted.

Some of the others are using 1/4" to 1/8" collet reducers.

They need to be good quality or you will introduce runout.

yeah, of course, but that doesn't solve my problem. I still need to find on that fits! And no one locally can seem to help. A google search keeps cmonig up with the same collet that won't fit my unit.

My point is they have ordered the wrong one.

Milwaukee does make a 1/8" collet to fit that grinder.

From memory there are different collet styles for the different milwaukee die grinders.

They took a while to find the right part number in the catalogue when I looked into it.

Check to see if they have the up to date catalogue.
