Hi all Just sold my multicam and looking to replace it with a mill / router for alli work. I've been mucking around with plc base control systems for linear positioning and are looking to take the leap into 3 axis controllers. Have heaps of questions Is there a simple method of converting a cad file to G code to machine? do I go for AC servo, DC servo or stepper the pro and cons of hitch hiking Am interested in the BBQ Regards Harpo |

| G`day harpo, Welcome. I am a newbie around cnc myself so i cannot answer your questions - but try V carve Pro for converting cad to G code by importing your cad. Hope to see you at the bbq next month. Rocket. |
