Im trying to convert my knee type mill into a servo driven CNC.
Looking to find either DC motors compatible with US Digital 1000 encoders
OR
Servomotors with Encoders built in.
They will be used on a Gecko 320/340. So I would like to keep to a 72Vdc max on the motors.
As its a knee type I would prefer at least 1000 Oz/in. I will be putting an air cylinder on the Z axis.
Anyone got any supplier suggestions.....Ive looked through a lot of their websites not having much joy.
Called around a few of the locals in Perth about the only motor I can find is the Baldor. Havent had replys from the emails I sent to the US guys, ill give them more than 48 hours though.
