    Find a CNC Mill supplier

    Hi,

I'm a noob with machining, and I am trying to complete a feasibility study that will end up with a decision to purchase a CNC mill, or totally out source our prototyping.

    Can't find anyone in Australia..

Is there a forumn link I missed, or should I have just asked?

    Thanks.

Super X3. 3600rpm. Sheridan 6"x24" Lathe + more. Three ways to fix things: The right way, the other way, and maybe your way, which is possibly a faster wrong way.

    LOL yes of course

The majorifty of our stuff will be constructed out of stock no bigger than your average shoe box (so say around 150*250*300) - but that is all part of the feasibility.

We would need to be able to cut BSP threads in perspex. All of our commercial prototyping is billet aluminium, or copper. However I would like to have spare capacity.

I would love to be able to justify a 5 axis so I can more easily do parts for my car after work

    You know the drill..

Once the creative thoughts get jump started though the machine will get a flogging.

Initially it will be "me" who goes to TAFE to complete a machining course, and then also "me" who learns whatever cad package is required.

The X3 should be almost big enough for you needs.

    Awesome thanks.

I look all over the world and a potential solution is a 5 minute drive away. HAHAAHA

Now I will head off in search of reviews for the X3 and book a demo for next week
