Hi, I have just decided that I would like to (try) to build my own CNC Router. I have the plans from Rockcliff but would like to upsize them. I have been searching various local websites for the Hardware one needs. Found some but they are expensive, aren't they? I expect that I willl be doing a lot of Post reading and photo viewing to improve my knowledge of this type of machine. I would be very interested to find someone locally who is somewhat further advanced than I am. I live in Hillside in the Melbourne Western Suburbs. Any of you live around this way? | G'day Albert. I'm in Geelong. I don't know exactly what sort of machine you have in mind but have a look at the "Joe's 2006" His machine is good for people who have wood working skills and equipment and is a fair step up in size from the "Rockcliff" If your more into metal engineering sort of thing then just look around the forum. Lots of ideas. Greg |
