Any one know of a source of high speed spindles in Australia?

Thinking Fimec, Colombo style. And yes I know they are expensive.

Fimec in Italy will sell me what I want (2 kw 18,000 rpm) for $520 US but freight is a killer.

Then customs/duty is always a lottery.

Try http://cncteknix.com/portal/index.php I dont think they have any on their web site but I understand they do sell high speed spindle motors.

Yeah I did make an enquiry with them and did not get a response. Will try again.

Are you coming to Mikie's BBQ in Feb?
