laser engraver

Hello everyone. I am another newbie and of course need help. Just put together and triple checked that it was done correctly a M900 redsail laser engraver. However when we turn the power onto the unit it trips our electric cutoff switch. Have checked that none off the wires have come off intransit and all looks good that way. It just seems to be going down to earth. Have also put on an earth wire. Any ideas ? would really appreciate some.

Explain more fully what you have done with the earth wire please.

Also when you say it trips your electric cutoff switch, do you mean the MCB or RCD? (may not have an RCD).

All sorted thanks pock. We have even ste up the reflector mirrors. Just now trying to get the computer to talk to the engraver

It is not easy things to adjust the light, every samll error can effect the result, and about the computer, I do not know what is the control system of your machine, I think it is a easy things, but take a notice of the static electronic. You can connect the wire between the screw of the USB and the ground, and you had better use the copper wire, the thickess of the gound is 1M at least.
