Cutting Imperial Components on local Metric CNC Machines

    Guys - need some advise/opinions.

I have some plans and toolpaths for a few components that I'm looking to machine locally. The components were designed using imperial measurements and so i am wondering if there will be any issues importing toolpaths into software configured in metric?

Has anyone ever had any experience in this?
    Thanks in advance

No problems, assuming that your control software recognises the G20/G21 unit of measure codes.

G20 tells the controller that the units of measure in your gcode are inches, G21 says your measurements are metric. The software/firmware will convert your numbers, using these units, into steps of the motors.
