In my journey to making motorcycle components for myself and friends my research has reached a point where i need to start looking at where and how much i can get the material i intend to machine. the norm for the components i want to make appears to be 6061-T6 and 7075-T6 aluminum. who in aus/qld sell this in a low volumes lol and what sort of price would i be looking at? only people i have found so far are in melb and newy and minimum orders are a bit to big for my needs hahaha. I have bought Aluminium and brass from "offcuts-galore" on quicksales and ebay. When I was after a particular size that wasn't listed I email him and he lets me know what he has and how much.

I have also bought small amounts from Action Aluminium in Acacia Ridge

cool thanks alot guys I will call them and have a chat. the off cuts guy looks like he will have what i need. currently i have to put plans on hold. a job i applied for about 8 months ago has finally come up as a goer so im off to perth in the next few weeks so once im settled I will look further into it all. unfortunately it seems everything conspires against me with this idea everytime i get closer something else happens hahahaha.
