Like beer? Want to help me realise my art project?

Hi, I am looking to get an art project CNC'd in (solid?) wood ideally, if not some other material. It doesnt matter which timber, so long as it will suit the task.

The art piece is 7 inches x 5 1/4 inches x 4 inches (17.78 cm x 13.34 cm x 10.16 cm). Its a bulbous figurine I guess you'd say (goggle image search 'Kidrobot Munny' for an idea).

It is fairly detailed in 3 dimensions aside from flat bases under his feet, so it might need to be CNC'd with a 5 axis machine?

I can supply an STL file (I work in Zbrush and can export an STL file from there) . Maybe you can help at a reasonable price (beer, cash, dried cod - whatever your currency) or point me in the right direction.

I'm happy to talk to people all around Australia, but it would be ideal to talk to someone closeby.

    Thanks

Hello again. I have an STL file ready for anyone who might like to look at. Maybe you can give me a rough quote (PM me). I've done some more research into the CNC process since my first post.

My design does have some undercuts true (under his chin, in his jumper hood), however I think these can be bypassed by building/cutting the design in at least two pieces (do the character's head separate) and reassembling it post CNC'ing. I can sculpt the undercuts out too. Otherwise, a 4 axis machine may do the trick I think.

    The art piece is 7 inches x 5 1/4 inches x 4 inches (17.78 cm x 13.34 cm x 10.16 cm). Its a bulbous figurine I guess you'd say.

Here's some jpegs of my design thus far (still some work to do).

Again, maybe someone can help at a reasonable price (beer, cash, dried cod - whatever your currency) or point me in the right direction.

    Thanks
