    End mill bits 4mm

    Hello,

Where can I get some end mill bits
I've snapped all my bits and my current supplier is in HK
Does anyone know of any local suppliers for end mill tool bits
Particularly 4mmx50mm with 4mm shank, or something suitable with a ER16 collet

    thanx

    Chris123,

Try "Hare & Forbes Machinery Warehouse". They are in most capital cities in Australia and carry a big range of affordable tooling.

    Chris123,

Iscar come out of Israel and have a huge range. Sandvik are out of Finland and probably have more representation in Australia.

In Perth, Iscar are supplied by an agent who works out of a small office and doesn't carry much stock.

Sandvik sell and support their own gear.

We are just in the process of standardizing everything to Sandvik Coromant to tool up new machines. You'll probably find them to be pretty helpful if you were to phone them.

You may also want to try P&N. I think they still manufacture high speed steel tooling. You've probably seen P&N twist drill sets in hardware stores, but they make slot drills, reamers, taps, dies, etc.

    Regards,
