Desktop machines (not kits) for sale in Australia?

I want a CNC router, but I have no interest in building one.

Other than CNC Shark (Carbatec) are there any desktop machines on commercial sale?

My requirements are Shark-sized, my budget is Shark-sized (plus or minus a bit), but I'd like to see what else is available.

I'm firm on buying in Australia. The hassles of importing from China aren't for me, and if something goes wrong I'd like to be able to engage in some frank, face-to-face discussion

    Ron.

    Hiya Ron,
I've trawled for hours looking for options to replace my first DIY machine. It works fine but I want to upgrade to ballscrews etc.

Have a look here:http://lowcostcncretrofits.com/hobbyrouter.html It's basically the same as the Sable machine on eBay out of Taiwan.

Other mill style available here: http://www.mytoolstore.com.au/categories/CNC/

The Shark is really expensive when you compare it to US price... but what's new.

Hope some of this might help. Cheers.
