Mongrels canned my flight... I had to decide between 90 minutes ealier or 90 minutes later.

Since I'm just coming down for the day, I didn't want to miss the entire morning. I'm now on a 6AM flight.

I'll be the guy asleep in the doorway when you get there... please wake me. (Just stepping over me would be most rude!)

No, JetStar. Tiger doesn't touch Sydney. "It [Tiger Airways] has indicated that Sydney Airport charges do not fit its strict low-cost model"

I will still keep trying to fix the printer but it isn't looking good, short of changing the main feed roller and top rollers with something I am out of luck, I have contaminated the rollers by putting some non slip spray (belt grip) on them, now no matter how much I clean them they contaminate the clean copper right before it prints

If I fix it I will bring it but time is running out...

There is a silver lining, I have always wanted to try using linear encoders/sensors from printers to make up a servo based pcb milling/drilling table (small but fast) - I have my first donor linear encoder

It has probably been mentioned but will someone be bringing a Wigitmaster machine ?

I would love to check one out in person.

    Cheers.

    Hi guys not long now.
I have sourced a PA for the day. I will need someone to take charge of setting this up.
I have a video camera that will capture the items been talked about and put it on the big screen. Just tested it and its ok. It has standard video out (Yellow RCA) or Svideo out. What I would like to be able to do, but not necessary is to be able to walk around wirelessly. Has any one got any equipment that could allow this? Could you let me know if you could bring it.
I am thinking with the amount of people on the day, and crowding around the item been talked about, it might be better to display it on the screen.
I need a volunteer to operate the camera on the day. Anyone?

I will be bringing 50 plastic plates and knives and forks. No need to bring your own. Cups of tea and coffee will be provided too. While the cost of this will be sponsored by Image Blinds I will be also leaving out a donation tin on the day. Any excess money will go into a kitty for further events, and or to reimburse those who have paid for any other items. I would like to encourage a small donation, (but not mandatory either) I will leave a donation tin near the coffee.

More notes to happen throughout this week.

    Regards Benny

EDIT: A clip board will be floating around the meeting during the day. Please fill in your details when it comes your way. You will be then entitled to be in the draw for any of the prizes been drawn on the day. I will also need a volunteer who can make sure the clipboard circulates to everyone.

I get my stuff through Futurlec, they are really cheap but postage is anywhere from 3-5 weeks.

I can spare a attiny2313-20SU. Its the SOIC-20 surface mount version.

Do'h, I should have specified that the AVR was a DIL package, and the gate driver a SOIC close, thanks though

I guess I am being a little impatient, they should turn up next week anyway, the following week at the latest.

I can feel your pain. I have a large queue of projects that I've temporarily shelved waiting for parts. I can't even remember what I got the attiny for. (brushless controller I think).

Heh, close but no cigar again I will be running them @ 16MHz so not quite fast enough I have a couple of those as well. I guess it won't really matter, I don't think I will get much done this weekend

If anyone could bring a trestle table or two, along, this would be great.
Remember we also need power leads and 4 ways adapter boards.
    Thanks.
