TopTech BF20L Vario
Hi guys,
About 5 or 6 six years ago I bought a TopTech BF20L Vario mill in Sydney (atm it's a bit difficult to get to the supplier). Unfortunately I misplaced my manual (coupe of house moves) I was just wondering if anyone has a copy from about that time. What I'm really after is just the wiring of the control panel\box. If anyone can help out it would be really appreciated, I've downloaded a couple of other manuals that are similar but the wiring diagrams don't seem to quite match up. If worse comes to worse I can trace it out......but would rather not.
So far I've got the machine converted and hooked up to a beaglebone black running machinekit, just starting to add spindle speed control.
Cheers
Rob

Re: TopTech BF20L Vario
I would be very surprised if you found a wiring diagram. I have put picosystems spindle dacs on my BF-30, BF-46, and a Turner Lathe. ALL were isolated earth.. so be careful!!
I blew the F out of the lathe board and found it impossible from Optimum to get new board. In the end I had to source a "well, that looks like it" board from the US, which BTW (although it could be the pot settings) runs the motor way better than the original.
So you've been warned! lol
