New Zealand: Looking for a leadscrew supplier
Hi,
I am new here. I am also pretty new to the CNC machine game.
I just bought a small CNC milling/engraving/routing kit from aliexpress.

I want to modify it to increase the X axis. It should be a straightforward task. I will source some longer extrusions for the frame - most likely from Ullrich Aluminium but I will also need to find a longer leadscrew and guide rods for the additional X-axis movement.
Can anyone suggest a likely supplier in the Auckland area?
Thanks
Tak

Hi Tak,
The guys at Linearmotion.co.nz stock trapezoidal screws I believe, otherwise Saeco Wilson are a good bet.
Personally though, I'd head on over to eBay - delivery for lead screws from China is usually only a couple of weeks, or else you can get stuff FedEx 'd from Europe of the states in a few days.
Good luck!
