I don't have a lot if experience, but I can say the uc400eth is easy to use, very configurable, and works well with uccnc.
Agreed. Add a cheap eBay BOB for the isolators and PWM->analog output for spindle control and it makes for a very tidy little controller.
I can only agree,
I have the UC300ETH-5LPT + UCCNC software and it work as charm.
I think it is a great deal.
IvnB,
What motor and driver do you use with? You use them for cnc router ?
I am using it on gantry milling machine(1 slave axis) with cheap Chinese driver kit ( something like this: 4Axis Nema23 Step Motor 270oz-in,3A dual shaft + driver Board TB6560 CNC Kits)
As I upgraded from parallel port, I tried PoKeys57CNCd25 with Mach 3 and 4, but that newer worked.
Now I have plenty of free inputs/outputs for future development available.
