Mesure letter area in Aspire ?

When needed to measure a area to machine, I usually go with AutoCad area measure tool to find out about it ( letters or whatever shape )...., and all is well !!

BUT....wondering is there a simple tool direct in Aspire to do that?? , would be so much simpler....and faster ;0))

YES I THINK WHAT U I USE IS.. LOOK IN EDIT OBJECTS LOOK IN THE SECOND ROW ICONS IT THE SECOND ICON ITS A BOX WITH A BOX AN A ARROW POINTING TO THE TOP RIGHT
