    Hello, i try to import different DXF files, but this is how they became in artcam.

    Picture 1: AutoCAD drawing
    Picture 2: The same drawing imported in Artcam

    Any tip?

    Try saving the .dxf file as version 12 or 13 .dxf

    I try both, but just the same..

    Hehe... I found it out.. i need to draw/save the drawing, from the "top view" in AutoCAD.

    How about just making a toolpath to clear it? Just use a big cutter with 99% stepover and it will not add to the simulation time too much. I don't know of a better way to do it.

    it's a 3d dxf model that I downloaded from cnc4free.org I tried to open it in Artcam but it's either I don't know how to do properly or it's just won't accept those 3d dxf model. It would get error. Btw I could open and alter fine in Rhino fine those 3d dxf model.

    Hello. I see i can import an model. If you click on the "reliefs" on the top of the screen, you can import 3d model.

    But i can`t see how to make a toolpath?

    Thanks Vegabond, you can create toolpath if you select the toolpath tab on the bottom left hand corner there.
