How to do recessed relief in ArtCAM 9???

Noobie to ArtCAM Pro 9 and I have a question:

I have created a 3D file in Google SketchUp of a recessed carving...

I have converted it to an STL file and want to bring it into ArtCAM to machine it...

However, I don't know how to set ArtCAM up so that it carves the recess out of the top of my wood stock...

My piece of wood is roughly 6in by 6in...

The circular recess is roughly 5.75in diameter...

Any help is appreciated...

Material set-up is in the very basics of the ArtCAM training notes.

I believe that you are familiar with version 8 from your other postings and it hasn't changed since then.

Again contacting your reseller for some basic training will pay-off
