help with settings

I created a toolpath in artcam pro 2008 amd when i ran the simulation in the program I noticed that the curves don't look smooth and when I sent the file to the router the curves where all choppy How can i smooth the curves in artcam or what settings do I need to adjust to make a cleaner curve

Is that created from a bitmap or image file?
