Hey All,
I posted the same inquiry over on the Artcam forum, and thought I would ask here as well. I was wondering if anyone is using a Haas CNC mill with Artcam Pro and has had success with using a rotary table for doing simultaneous wrap milling?
I've tried at various times to modify a couple of posts and have had limited success. I contacted our reseller some time ago and was supplied with a post that could be used for index milling. But what I am really looking to do is get something set up to be able to unwrap/rewrap .stl files that come from scan data and machine the pieces in continuous paths without having to set the file up to machine it from multiple sides. Is this even possible for AC Pro to do for a Haas? I know other machines out there have posts written for them that can do this.
I've read the AC post manual and have been having limited success getting to where I want to be.
Any help on this would be appreciated, or if someone might have a post, or some sample code for a Haas that they might share, and let me know how they got their post that would be cool.
Chris
