Question Problems carving simple file- motor/driver issue?

Using a GShield and having bit of a weird carving issue. Tried sending file using GRBLcontrol, candle and Universal GCode Sender- all have the same issue.
Heres my file loaded up in grblcontrol:
    2017-07-23 17.08.04.jpg2000x1125 401 KB

    Here's what it carves:
    2017-07-23 17.07.46.jpg2000x1125 251 KB

Note the screwed up letter spacing and errors on the K
Any ideas? I'm assuming one of the motors/something on the GShield is fried?

Looks like it's not directly connected with actual cutting but with rapid moves between cuts, it's possible that acceleration is set too high so steppers are stalling. But I assume that it's not your first try at milling so it's wise idea to think what has changed.

Check your max feed rate when your code is issuing the g00 command it looks like your stalling out. Anytime G00 is issued it always uses your max feed rate.
    $110 Configuration x max rate, mm/min
    $111 Configuration y max rate, mm/min
    $112 Configuration z max rate, mm/min
