I discovered today that hitting the Print button in OnecncXP while in the rendered image or simulation, does not send the file straight to your printer, but rather makes an image which you can then save, email or print.

And here I was using a third party program to capture my screen shots for emailing. Doh!

Thanks for the tip. That is brilliant i see that it is in the explorer and you can do whatever you want. I used it in an email today. I seem to learn of new features every day that I did not know was there.

I would say in all softwares if you use Control & Print Screen you will get a snap shot of the screen that can be brought in to Paint or another software to be changed if wanted then mailed.

You are quite correct Cadcam, except that print screen gets you everything on the screen which requires cropping the pic down afterwards, which I haven't figured out how to do. If I can't figure out how to do something in a minute or two of snooping around in help, then it's too much trouble for me. :)

Also, Onecnc's output is in png format, which is extremely compact compared to bitmap formats which Paint gives you.

It was kind of funny, because I was composing a long letter to Onecnc support, in which I was going to suggest exactly what they have already done :)
