I have been trying to get in contact with Lathe Master(http://www.lathemaster.com/) to see when they would be getting their 8x14 lathe back in stock with no luck. I've emailed them several times and nothing. Was wondering if anybody else has tried contacting them or know of what is going on with them. Seems like they have alot of accessories being sold on ebay, but can't get them to respond to my emails.

Bob is sometimes a bit slow....not sure why. I would call him....and he'll most likely return your call within a day or so. "I want to order something..." always seems to help.....*smile*.....I just got a QCTP for my Lathemaster Lathe about 2 weeks ago.

I've had the same problem for the last 3 months. I send him email about once a week. So far, no replies.

Via ebay, I sent Bob a message inquiring about the 5C spin jig and got a response from him in about an hour. So, I suspect you have to catch him at the right place....I suspect ebay has a "reply to requestor response time requirement".

I would let Bob know that you want the lathe, when he gets them in he will go down his list of names and call you.....if you're unsure he will go to the next person until he has sold all the units....I know when he called me....I hesistated at first....asked him when his next shipment would come in...and then just gave him my credit card number....less then 10 days later....I had the lathe.

i gave up. if i have to hound someone for product availability and can't get an email in response, i won't do business with them, no matter how many people are happy with their products.

i sent 3 emails, got no response. bought my lathe through MicroMark. if you can't operate a business responsibly -- and any responsible business owner WANTS new customers, then you don't deserve to be in business in the first place. there is no phone number posted on their web site -- which led me to believe the owner didn't want to be bothered talking to people.

that's my 2 cents. i have run several businesses over the past 30 years and can tell you that LatheMaster has a lot to learn about public relations.

Very strange, everytime I have called I have spoken to him, I called him last week and got a hold of him. I placed a order on-line and got a responce that my items were on the way. I will have to email him about this, he maybe on vacation or somthing this week.

problems happen with emails all the time. Emails end up in bulk mail folders. Spam filters delete them. Isp's block them trying to block someone elses. ect.

But there should always be a phone number :P But then again i only use email myself i dont like chatting with people on the phone for hours about nothing not even dealing with the products hehe
