Dario

Great spindle design and detailed drawings!.

Just wondering about the 0.5mm end float that i see on your drawings or is the inner sleeve reduced in length later to take this end float up or is there a shim behind the bearing.
See attatched pic:-

Mark

Hello Mark,
the space that you see servants for being able to carry out a precise recording of the spin of the tree and will go fixed in phase of realization until obtaining a fluid and precise sliding, holding also account of the thermal expansions of motion.
sorry for mi bad Inglisc and thanks for the answer
ciao Dario

Hi Dario,
I have done a couple of searches over the last year (yahoo, google, cnczone, etc.) looking to see if I could find someone who had made their own automatic tool changer (ATC is the abbreviation in English) and yours is the only one I found. I wonder if you are the only person in the world to have done it? Do you have it up and running now and if so, are you happy with the results? Anyway it sure looks nice!
