Thanks for sharing that with us? How are the scales held on? owhite 03-22-2005, 10:28 AM the fish was made from one solid piece of metal. The scales are formed by slicing a "C" shape in the metal with my laser, and then dishing it out a little. To dish it out, I used a blunt shaped rod in a drill press; pushing the rod into the part sitting on top of softwood. Owen trubleshtr 03-22-2005, 04:01 PM THat's really neat! What type of laser do you use? I would like to put one on the end of my robot, but have not figured out the size (Watts) yet. owhite 03-22-2005, 04:24 PM see: http://www.nilno.com/laser_intro/ |
