I have a super-tech mill - still learning to use it -

support is very good - Dennis will answer questions and take the time to work with you - he is friendly, and knowledgeable (he wrote the software).

I chose this mill (there are several different CNC versions of the Taig mill, because of the software and that it has limit switches.

CNC is new to me and I am having trouble getting my head around some of the concepts.

I was AMAZED when I opened the boxes - the pieces were bolted to 1/2 board and packed with paper as well as 2" (beveled no less) foam house insulation. Check out his web site - it is huge - there are photos and instructions on uppacking and setting up the machine.

www.super-tech.com -- orders@super-tech.com

has an awful lot of photos and information - on his web site - you can spend hours there (I did) - movie clips - instructions manuals - all the commands - menus - you name it - even downloadable files and manuals as well as a demo.

I mounted mine on a plate of 1/2" alum. Didn't even use the third bolt.

feel free to contact me directly if you want -

As far as the packing, I bet this is how the mill is sent from the Taig factory. I ordered one from Nick Carter and it came packaged the same way you were talking about. Check out my Taig page I took some photos of it.
