VM-40 circa 1987 has a twitchy spindle just after a tool change or spindle orientation command.
Can anyone suggest a reason for this?

Can anyone suggest a reason for this? jaherrera3499 10-11-2009, 11:20 PM What type of control is on it? Usually, it is a pre-amp that is going out, if Fanuc controls. There is a black box on the top of the spindle. It goes to the spindle sensor. CNC-Hammer 10-12-2009, 08:41 AM Control is a Seicos Mk 2. The spindle twitches mainly after a long period of inaction. Can you elaborate further on the pre-amp? nakatome 10-12-2009, 11:35 AM hi cnc hammer is spindle gearhead or cartridge type , check motor coupling incert maybe bad |
