It took less than 2 months to get it delivered to my door. I am very impressed considering that Excitech starts building each machine once it's ordered and delivery by sea takes more than 20 days.
The router seems to be an excellent piece of engineering art. The 1.5Kw spindle is so quiet so it's hard to say whether it's on or off.
Two well built men can lift it up and put it on a table.. ok, they can if the table is just one metre away :-)
Jerry who is Excitech sales person is very helpful and I highly recommend him if you want to purchase a CNC Router from Excitech.
Unfortunately I didn't get any details on how to configure this model with MACH3. Jerry is working on this but I guess it won't hurt if I ask for help here.
I am a complete newbie to CNC Routers and MACH3. I did a lot of reading on the subject though and I think it helped me to find all pins for XYZ myself.
However I cannot find pins assigned to spindle control and where in MACH3 you can control spindle state(on/off) and speed.
I'd really apretiate it if somebody can help me with this.
cheers,
Mike
