Hi CNCers,
Is there anyone who could cnc cut parts out for a JOES2006 for me in Melbourne??? I have downloaded the dwg files and will hand-make the parts myself if no one can help out. Just thought I'd ask......!
I could pay cash, alcohol (!), sparky work (I'm licenced), or just spread the word about how good a person you are!!!
CHEERS.

Well sure I could do it for you, but I'm all the way over in the United States. I don't know how rediculous the shipping would be, but should'nt be to bad depending on the size and weight. Let me know where you got the file so I can check it out and give you a quote if you'd like, allways happy to help out our Australian brothers.

Thanks Universalfab, I really appreciate you replying to my request. I'd originally ruled out getting a kit shipped from the US due to the shipping costs, but haven't actually investigated how much it would be.?.
Thought I'd see if I could tap into some local knowlege / help but will definately PM you if I'm having issues sourcing help. It's a great thing about these forums, the fact we can all spread the knowlege around the world. I've been reading posts from US, UK, Canada, Pakistan, New Zealand, Singapore, etc etc etc. It amazes me somewhat!
Anyway, refering to my first post, I guess what I'm exploring at this stage is the possibility of someone who already has a CNC machine to cut some parts for me. Which ones and sizes etc, I'm not sure yet. I considered for ages to have a go at a JOES 4x4 but have now decided just to give the JOES2006 a shot initially and see where that leads me from there.
Thanks greatinfo (sorry don't know your name) also for offering. I've had a look at your website, obviously a lot of experience with CNC machines. Are you able to cut some parts for me? Where are you located? I'm currently in Melbourne till the end of this year, then moving to Newcastle (2hours north of Sydney). I downloaded a zip file containing plans and drawings (http://geno.boxgods.com/Joes_CNC_Model_2006_R-2.zip) but not sure what format you would require. Also, because here in Aus our MDF is slightly different size, I'm investigating what changes need to be made.
Attached is a picture of the parts package JOE makes.
I'm interested in your thoughts?
Thanks again.
