Well it's been 2 yrs, since I started this website. Its been a great run, and I want to thank all the members that make this site great!Since the site opened I have gone through a very servers and now have a dedicated server. We have gone from 20 posts a day to nearly 100 posts a day. We are nearing 10,000 members and have more give-a-ways than any websites I know.

We look forward to more great posting and many more give-a-ways. Thanks to all those who donate their time and money to this site, it truly appreciated.

As many of you know I spend MANY hours improving and keeping the site together. I could not do it alone, I have the help of many moderators who take time out to read and keep the site under control.

So thank you all, now let's get CNCing :)

Fantastic effort Paul, and congratulaions on developing a wonderful site.

I know without a doubt that if it wasn't for the zone I would not be into CNC, and would be still be doing my previous mundane job.

It wasnt that long ago that a friend of mine mentioned that he was getting his work cut via CNC. I went to the net to find out what CNC was, and stumbled upon this site. It was Balsamans thread that made me think I could do this too.

I suspect that there are many similar to myself who would not be into CNC if not for this site.

If I went out and bought a book all about CNC it might cost me $80 bucks. The book would be read, and that would be the end of it. The zone is like a living book where it is constsntly been added to, and been kept up to date with new ideas. I really dont mind donating from time to time to a book that never ends. The best value for money I have come across in a long time.

Special mention to all the active members here who make this place work, by contributing to all the newbie posts and continually providing links for those in search of help. ( You know who you are )

Keep up the great work.

That is great news! I hope the site is now making enough money to maintain it's self and maybe give you some pocket money :)

I work my ass of to keep the site running, improved and FREE. It's a labor of love.... I hope to hire a few people to help with the site, but that's not possible yet.

My plans for the future is to -

1) Get a Newsletter out every 3 months - (need writers)
2) Entice the professional users of the CNC industry
3) Get more articles for the on-line magazine
4) make the site better and easier to use
5) maybe branch the site off into a another site for another venue

I dare say the CNCzone and it's members is responsible for a rejuvenating of this hobby and the market place.
