Just installed a beta drive for the tool length detection. This machine had one prior and when it went down for a broken drawbar the beta drive was stolen for another NH5000. I have the original parameters in the book from Mori, however, I'm not sure which ones are for the tool length which is unit 7 on the machine.

The machine also lost zero position because the drive was out of the machine and thus didn't have a complete circuit for the batteries. I was going to put everything on the marks in the machine, however, the only marker that is still in the machine is for Z-axis. Nothing for X, Y, or B. I figure the next best thing it to put a machined part in the machine and use that as a known point and go backwards with the positions in the program and tool offsets then reset 1815.4. Are there any suggestions to be more accurate so we don't speed a week dialing in the machine?

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.
