So I've been posting and researching which tiny CNC router to grab. Seems like the fireball is leading because even though it's a little more expensive then the Sable I like that I'll have some customer support and that it's in the US etc. Plus the bed size is a little better for me. The only major thing I'm worried about is the fact that it's not a complete aluminum frame. Looks like the pieces are made of wood or MDF? Seems like this could cause a lot of problems... What's the verdict on this, should I be worried?

It is quite capable of high quality work. It is in fact MDF and plastic pipe (PVC?), which keeps the cost down significantly compared to aluminum extrusion. I have not had any issues to date that I could blame on the construction. You can see some examples of what it can do here:

Also, the support on the Fireball CNC Yahoo! Group is excellent - with VERY frequent posts and assistance from Probotix.

I am VERY happy with my purchase.
