Hi,
Am I overlooking a simpler way then to individually calculate the position and draw multiple (5) spokes 1/2" wide by 1.5" high x 4" long around a cylinder?, If this does not make any sense (Imagine that) let me know and I can sketch an example.
Thanks
Ken
Ken,
How about draw one of them and use the rotate with copy around the cylinder center.
Let us know if that's not what you want.

Took me a bit to get the coordinates correct but that made very simple work out of my problem.
Still fighting the coordinates thing; just about the time things seem to make sense I have trouble.
Practice makes perfect I guess.
Looking forward to the Haas Demo Days on the 11th
Thanks
Ken

Any tips on drawing a wedge, say 4" long x 1/2 wide and 1.5" high, have been trying to modify the cube but not getting any where with that and the tapered cube angles all sides.
Thanks much
Ken
Ken,
For a "wedge" draw your 6 end points, then connect your points with lines. Then use the "surface 4 sides" to surface the top, bottom, and back sides. Then use "surface 3 sides" to do the sides. Then use "merge" to combine all the surfaces into a solid. If you need a solid.
