I'm currently using the CAMBAM plus free trial, so far I've only tried out the text engraving (which worked a treat).

How does CAMBAM play with solidworks solids? Can it import and use IGES/STEP or any of those? I've heard mention of STL.

The website says .stl, .3ds, and RAW. Looks like .stl would be the option to use with solidworks.

Typically, any CAM program that'll read iges or step files will cost at least 10x-20x what CAMBAM does.
