I have a newish SL-10. It's been treating me very well, thank you. One issue I've had is fighting with the thermal comp. I turned off the automatic settings, that helped a lot. Now I'm using the #109 and #110 settings. The only problem I'm having is that the maximum time allowed is 300 minutes. I've installed a thermocoupler on my X axis casting and have found that my machine will heat up for at least the 8 hours that I run it un-attended, maybe more. The Haas guys tell me that there is no way for me to increase #109 more than 300 minutes.
