I have a Calcomp 1012 plotter (tractor feed) and was wondering is it worth saving to be used by someone who cuts vinyl letters. If not, I will scrap it for parts to be used in the making of a cnc router.

I take it from the lack of replies that there is no use for the plotter. I guess I will tear it down for parts. Going....Going............

I'm going to take it apart and see if ther are any usable parts inside. My ultimate goal is to make a cnc router table. As old as it is I'm hoping there is a stepper motor large enough to be of some use.
