I don't know where you got those prices. If you're looking at claimed retail prices by other sellers, ignore that. That's a pretty old system and lots of those guys inflate their reserve and starting prices, but never sell them. You'll sell it, but don't expect $800 for the stuff either. The whole probing kit for a new Haas is $4K, including the software and the tool presetter.

This guy has been listing these presetters since Christmas. It's the one I told you about in the other thread. They're brand-new, with a current machine interface and he can't get anybody to buy the last kit at $500.

If you salvaged that from a Haas on its way to the boneyard, I hope you took more than the probe. Individually, you won't get much for each part, but overall, you might score a grand or two worth of electronics and motion parts.

My buddy salvaged this off the same machine.
