I have a conquest 42 lathe that we just replaced the main board on. The problem is that we dont have the 900 parameters for the machine, we have a set of "Standard 900 Parameters" from hardinge, and with some tweaking Ive managed to get it to come up and the main control panel to be responsive, but I cannot get past a 401 SERVO ALARM (VRDY OFF) error. I also notices that on the servo amp I do not have a DRDY light which i suppose is the ready light for the board. We do have all of the other parameters in for the machine and I think that one of the 900 parameters will cause the servo amp to go into a ready state, but i have no clue which one it is. Does anyone have a key for the 900 parameters for a fanuc 0tb control or any idea which one would do this?
Any help would be GREAT
Thanks

Anybody? this thing is killing me.
Thanks
Call Hardinge 1-800-843-8801 and ask for service. They will pass you along to a tech. Give them the serial number from your machine (found by opening the door in front where the brake is; look to the right). They will give you the option codes (900 codes) that are registered for that machine.

Tried that, they dont even have a copy of the 900 parameters.... somehow they are not in their system, the only thing they said was to have a tech come down from hardinge to re-create the machine. Thats what im trying to avoid. Hardinge techs are $$$$$$$$$$
I don't understand that. I just went through basically the same thing; I had to wipe out all my memory, parameters, diagnostic words, etc. Hardinge put me in touch with a tech who had all the options listed for my particular machine. He helped me with what to put where to get all the params back to stock, and I was up and running in an afternoon. Don't fool around with the front desk people; ask for service right away.

Did you get this running? I'm not aware of any option parameters that would cause this and would first look to make sure everything was wired back up right after the mother board was replaced.
