I am looking for information on what Models of Mazak controls can call EIA Sub Programs from Mazatrol Mains, T1 to current and M2 to current. If you have sample main programs and or reference to which manual to find more help I would apreciate the help for any of these controls. I have proved out my subs via EIA programming and have years of Mazatrol programs I need to add this capability to. (Machine Monitoring)

Thanks Kevin

My 640T (on an SQT250M) can call up an EIA/ISO sub or macro from the Mazatrol program.

You press the "SUB PROGRAM" menu key and enter in the work number and number of repetitions. There are some limitations, but since I haven't had the need to use it, I'm not familiar with them.

This ability is apparently an option, and the basics should be in your programming manual.

EIA is an option on Mazatrol CNC's. I used it on T2's, T32's , M32's and T plus.
We used to say the machine had a EIA card ( not sure if this is an accurrate description). Very usefull option on the Milling controls and on the SQT's with Y-axis
and milling. Never found a need for it on the 2-axis lathes once I figured out Mazatrol.

Actually, EIA is standard with Mazatrol depending on the model of machine (been that way since Plus controls). Prior to that it would certainly be an OPTION.

As for being able to sub program from one to the other... If you have the option, you can do it. It works in either direction also (Mazatrol to EIA ... or .... EIA to Mazatrol).

There are a few very, very early Mazatrol controls that were only one of the other and not both... not many of them around anymore.

Anyway, the same ability exists all the way to today with Mazatrol Matrix controls.
