I'm hopeing some one can answer this question.
Can the hard drive of a CinCi Sabre with the 2100 control be ghosted?
we seem to be running into loosing hard drives and the cost is getting pretty hard to cover.
I have been told that I can't ghost the drive due to Cincinnati's copy right protection.
Then I have been told you can but it is to difficult to do.
Can someone shed some light on this please.
thanks Troy

It's very easy to do.

Get a copy of norton ghost, install it onto a bootable floppy disk, install a 2nd hard drive into your machine and ghost it.

Here is the technical article on it. It is recommended by Cincinnati. Even if you can't do it, you should pay someone to do it for you. It's well worth it.

Hi laka is dead right,do it your self or better still get a computor geek to do it for you,I had simular probs with a cincinatti hawke/acramatic 2100 we used a 80g seagate hard drive and had it cloned off the oridginal, just make sure you dont have any viruses from other soarces that are on the oridginal because they can be transfurd to the clone.Actually i think seamans give permission to clone 1 copy,if you are going through these fast,I would think you may have underlying problems, may be heat or vibrations,I ended up putting cooling fans on my hard drive and power supply cabinet because they get very hot and it seems to have done the trick.Best of luck Greg.
