I was searching the web for a joystick to keyboard mapper software. I found one here (http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA016823/joytokey/english.html) that is free. I changed my jog settings to use the number keys on my keyboard (NUM lock on) , +, -, and my left and right arrows for feed speed. You need to create a new config when you start the program otherwise it won't save your settings...just a word of experience :) . I'm using my MS Sidewinder, which is a little bulky but nice to have the extra axis. I've got my Z on the twist of the handle for up and down. The feed speed is mapped to two buttons on the top of the joystick. Also mapped my ESC key to button 1 in case I need to stop for some reason.
