Hi all,

I just stated using NX4. I'm a long time Mastecam user and hoping I can find a few of the long time NX users here willing to help. I'm currently going thru CAST and finding it leaves a bit to be desired for me. I have the basic drawing down, but getting the stock/part set-up on the manufacturing side sems to be a pain in the, you know what.

Anyone one have any suggestions beyond a actual training class? We are looking a to whats available for classes too.

NX CAM is easier than MC ,but be care about cutter jump:D
Some tips here:
For roughing strategy and subroughing strategy -use Cavety Mill only.
For finishing strategy -use ZLEVEL_PROFILE,or FIXED_CONTOUR.
