I got into one the other week and it was cool. They walk through the software talking about different features. Showing you how to use the software and answering questions. I think BobCAD wants people to know just what it can do, and that some of the bad press, is just that bad press.

Any way I don't know how often they run these and for how long they will do this.

Maybe it's worth taking a look.

Just had a great one-on-one with a BobCad Demo expert! Anyone who would like to see the software with a live tech should check it out. Today there will be a BobArt Demo. It's realtime by the way!

And is it at a time that is of any use to us in Europe???

.

Rob,
Sign on now and speak with Allen about the timing and how it may work for you. It will prompt you to install the coinnection software. It is just a citrix client tool and you can trust it is not anything funcky. Its a java plug so you can purge it afterwords if you like.

Hi Burr

I don`t have any of the hardware etc required and doing trans-atlantic `phone calls from my home number is out of the question, way too expensive mate!!

I actually don`t have any audio enabled on this PC, does my head in, all the beeps, burbles, whistles etc so I don`t even have an audio card in the machine!!
I only found out by accident that the V23 videos had sound on them when a friend downloaded the Demo and happened to be watching one when I called round his office one day!!!!!

Regards
Rob

Hi Rob,
It's ok to not have any of that stuff. It can work in real time for you like a "chat forum". There is a little panel on the side and you can type back and forth with questions and answers. You just have to select who see;s your typing (Everyone in the meeting...Just the presenter...etc.

You should just try to log in now and say hello to allen. He is sitting there waiting for the webinar to start and can speak to you this very moment. By speak I mean use the chat window.

Go for it.

Hey Rob. Yeah I logged in a few times looking for you so I could mention I appreciate all your input you give to the forums. I've learned from them!

Allen was just sitting there waiting and probably got sick of seeing "Burr" log in again!! :drowning:

Anyway, looks like "the one" has posted another planned. See if the timing works for you UK type and maybe you could get one during your business hours (or after work) as I know you are not alone in that time zone!

Anyway, talk later,
Burr

Hi Burr

Thanks for the kind words but I`ve probably learnt more from you, anyway that`s what it`s all supposed to be about on the Forums!!

The one on Monday would have been good for me as it works out to 2.00pm here I think but I am away to see a (Hopefully) new customer Monday/Tuesday and if it all works out I will be buried in design/developement on some new products plus current production work for a few weeks so stuff like the webmeetings will have to take a back seat for the forseeable future!!
Paying the bills has to come first in these dark days I`m afraid!!

Regards
Rob
