Hi fellow CNCzone members.
First real post made since joining so lets get to the problem.
I have a MC-3va okuma milling machine with a "143 Alarm A Attached
unit error 1" . I was told that this was a low oil level alarm for the oil cooling
unit. As the oil level is full, I was woundering what else might cause this
Alarm. Any help would be nice. Thanks, RoundieLand

The error list also states it could be the float switch inside the tank

may be stuck down,
or faulty

Thanks for the info Superman,
I'll pull the top of the Tank off and check it out.
I'll let you know the results

Hey Superman, RoundieLand here.
Pulled top off of tank to find only a filter.
Could oil level sensor be located in the headstock?
Again, Any info would help.

Thanks

I would assume the float would somehow be attached to the motor/pump pick-up assy

I guess you are looking at the tank that is between the spindle and pendant control, at operator's eye level

Ours is a MC-4VA and very similar, looked at spare parts book, but doesn't show this component in exploded view
Other than that, I can't help further, but try following the wires, or look at the electricals, they may show the level switch near the motor etc.
Cheers

Thanks For the help Superman.
If I find the promblem I'll post a new thread and try to explain what was causing
the Alarm error.
